What is orthotics?

Orthotics are devices used for helping and supporting the biomechanical abnormalities and deformities of the feet and ankles. Orthotics are mainly used in the world of orthopedics and help to correct specific movement or some abnormal, or deficient position of any bone in the lower extremities. They also in some cases facilitate the healing and alignment of joints and disfigured bone structure.

Orthotics stabilize bone structure and joints that need extra support, helping reduce pain, correcting posture, restricting movement to avoid misalignment, and also help reduce callus and ulcer formation by off-loading the pressure points of the feel and ankles.
